Marine Instruments held the V solar regatta in Baiona in which SusTunTech had its own stand where it gave demos of SmartMarineView to schoolchildren and pedagogy about sustainability and resource optimisation. The Galician company seeks with this competition to promote energy efficiency among schoolchildren and amateurs through the construction of solar prototypes, promoting their first steps in these technologies.

The technological innovation company, Marine Instruments, remains faithful to its initial philosophy with which it laid the foundations of the solar regatta, which is the promotion of energy efficiency among schoolchildren and amateurs through the construction of solar prototypes, promoting their first steps in these technologies. Both the Solar Regatta and the Solar Car Race propose the construction of a 100% solar radio-controlled prototype, promoting originality, technological development, design efficiency and sustainability.

For this last point, the sustainable development goals of the UN’s 2030 Agenda have been taken into account, developing a series of incentives to encourage participants to come up with technical solutions and sustainable designs that respect the environment.
